Hi all,
Been using a Rift S for the last few months to just try out VR before pulling the trigger an a quest 2, had zero issues with my Rift s until the last software update, where no whenever I turn my pc and go to use the headset i have 3 dots for about 5 seconds and it always asks me to set the boundries again. I do that and again turn pc off and on it will ask me to do it again. Getting very frustrating now and wondering if anyone has a fix.
I only use my VR for simracing too so I'm not moving around the room either.
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks

Hello, @AlexRichh we see you're having issues with PCVR compatibility, and we'd love to assist you in getting your Rift back up and running. Especially because we realized how much fun it is to be a part of PCVR. With that being said lets get started with some troubleshooting. Have you by any chance uninstalled the software from your computer? Then reinstalled it? You can do so by following this directory :
1. Disconnect the Rift/Link cable from the computer.
2. Disconnect your computer from the internet.
3. Backup any necessary content.
• You can find steps on how to do so here: https://www.meta.com/help/quest/articles/headsets-and-accessories/oculus-rift-s/rift-backup-content/
4. Reboot into Safe Mode.
5. Uninstall Oculus PC app using the Control Panel.
6. Delete all Oculus folders from the following folder:
• C:\Program Files
7. Remove any Oculus folders from the following locations:
• C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData
• C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData\Local
• C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData\LocalLow
• C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData\Roaming
• C:\OculusSetup-DownloadCache
8. Restart your computer in normal mode.
9. Reconnect your computer to the internet.
10. Install Oculus PC app again using the setup tool from our website here: https://www.meta.com/quest/setup/
11. Reconnect the Rift/Link cable and re-test the headset.
If this doesn't work please let us know so that we can try something else.

@AlexRichh, we'd like to point out that other users have encountered this issue and discovered that this could be a solution. Where that is not a solution specified by Meta, and we do not recommend them officially. It might be worth a go.
