The 2023 Super Bowl matchup has been decided, and soon, NFL fans will get a chance to watch the top teams in the league battle to determine a champion.

The Chiefs and the Eagles were arguably the two most consistent teams in the NFL during the 2022 season. Each finished the season with a record of 14-3, which was good enough to win its conference's No. 1 seed, and won two playoff games to reach the Super Bowl.
The Eagles blew out both of their opponents, the Giants and 49ers, en route to winning the George Halas Trophy. Philadelphia has a record of 16-1 when Jalen Hurts starts at quarterback and it possesses arguably the most complete roster in the NFL.
As for the Chiefs, they are led by MVP Patrick Mahomes, who is looking to win his second career Super Bowl. Mahomes is the best quarterback in the NFL right now, and he has the support of one of the best coaching staffs in the league, headed by Andy Reid. They have some holes on defense, but their offense is powerful enough to go blow-for-blow with the Eagles.

Coverage of the Super Bowl will air throughout the day across various channels. Fox's pregame coverage of the event will start at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PT) while NFL Network and ESPN will have pregame and postgame coverage from the contest.

Fox will be the home of the 2023 Super Bowl, marking the 10th time that the network has broadcast the NFL's marquee event. It will be the first broadcast of theirs that doesn't feature the tag-team duo of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman on the call since Pat Summerall and John Madden called the 2002 Super Bowl, which featured Tom Brady's first Super Bowl victory with the Patriots.
Instead, Fox's new No. 1 broadcast team of Kevin Burkhardt (play-by-play) and Greg Olsen (analyst) will call the game. The duo has been well-received during their playoff broadcasts with Olsen getting particular praise from those watching the games at home.
Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi will roam the sidelines at the Super Bowl and provide key updates during the contest. Additionally, Mike Pereira will join the broadcast as an officiating expert, marking his fifth appearance in the booth for the big game, good for the most among officiating analysts.
Meanwhile, Fox's studio team will be comprised of host Curt Menefee, who will be joined by an eclectic group of personalities includingTerry Bradshaw, Howie Long, Michael Strahan, Jimmy Johnson and Rob Gronkowski for the pregame, halftime and postgame shows. Bradshaw will present the Lombardi Trophy to the winning team.

The easiest for those with cable subscriptions will be to the NFL app. The league broadcasts the game free with those services if you enter a cable subscription. The Fox Sports app will also carry the Super Bowl and will allow it to be streamed for free, even for those without cable.
Others options include streaming services like fuboTV, which comes with a free trial. NFL+, Sling, Hulu+, YouTube TV and DirecTV Stream will also carry Sunday's game.

The Chiefs opened as a favorite of 1.5 points in the Super Bowl at BetMGM, but the spread has since shifted in favor of the Eagles. It got as high as Eagles -2, but it has now settled on Philadelphia being a 1.5-point favorite.
The Eagles are likely favored because of their elite roster depth and top-tier pass rush. Their offense matches up well with the Kansas City defense, and Jalen Hurts should be able to consistently move the ball. Whether it's by targeting DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown downfield or using Miles Sanders and the ground game to move the ball, Philadelphia should have a chance to score a lot.
Of course, Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid are great equalizers for the Chiefs, and the former should be healthier with two extra weeks to recover from the high-ankle sprain he suffered against the Jaguars. So, the Chiefs should make this a close games, which explains the low spread.
